Miss Great Britain is the original Pageant in the UK and been running more than 70 years and in 2020 it will be celebrating it’s 75th year.

Lucy Pears, the current Miss Durham is delighted to be be running this years event in conjunction with Headline Models Ltd.


Miss Durham will be working in partnership with many local well known sponsors and businesses including  Ramside Hall Hotel and Headline Models.

Applications are now open and must be submitted on the website www.missnortheastgb.co.uk. Various recruitment and casting events will take place throughout 2019 to shortlist the finalists who will then compete at a prestigious event on 18th July at Ramside Hall Hotel in the Bishops Suite.

We will crown Miss Durham Tees, along with numerous other smaller titles on the evening including Miss Charity – the contestant who raises the most money for the chosen charity, Miss Smile and others.

The final of Miss Great Britain will then take place in 2020 on the 75th Anniversary year.

The heart of the Miss story has and always will be the charity element. To date it has raised over £90K for a number of charities in the North East and help inspire young women to go that extra mile and help make a difference. Charities we have supported over years are:
